A total of 16 students completed the full IB Diploma this year, with a pass rate of 100% (world average 84%)! The average score was 33 points (world average 30 points), with 75% of the students obtaining a score of 30 points or more; out of those, 50% scored at least 34 points or more and 33% of them scored 40 points or more. 50% of our full IB Diploma graduates were awarded the Bilingual IB Diploma.

Dr. Gwyn Underwood, Head of School, commented: "These results are excellent, well done Class of 2015! BISS has an individualised approach to learning and is an inclusive school where all students are encouraged to consider the full rigorous Diploma Programme, so world-class results like this are a testament to the success of our academic programme. Congratulations not only to the graduates and their families who supported them as they studied for their IB Diploma, but also to all of their teachers who supported them over the years as they prepared for this result."

Beijing BISS International School celebrated its 20th Anniversary last school year, and was the first international school in Beijing to be authorised to offer all three of the globally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) academic programmes, the  Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme.
