SIA uses 'holistic review' in the application process. Please follow the application procedures as below.

Step 1: Submit online application

Submit online application in the following link. Please do not re-submit if you have already done so.

Step 2: Pay application fee

A Non-refundable application fee of RMB 800. (Please add ‘student grade + name’ as note)

Step 3: Submit Supplemental Materials

Please prepare the following documents accordingly, and upload it to :

         Please make sure you answer the following questions. Normally, the answer to each question should NOT exceed 1 minute.

1. Please introduce yourself and your family members in English AND Chinese
2. What do you like to do in your spare time?
3. What's your favorite book? How has it influenced you?
4. Imagine yourself in 20 years. What kind of person will you become?
5. What three words would your friend use to describe you?

4. Parents’ Statement

       In order to get to know each family better, please answer the following questions.

• What makes you choose international education for your children?
• What do you expect from school in your child's upbringing?
• Please share with us a challenging moment in your parenting experience. How did you overcome the challenge?

Step 4: Admissions Offer and Enrollment

1. Admission results

You will be notified with an admission result within 3-7 working days.

2. Deposit

To ensure your enrollment at BISS, please make a deposit payment of RMB 20,000 within 3 working days upon receiving your admission offer. Your enrollment will be automatically forfeited if the deposit was not made on time.

3. Getting ready for the new school year

You will be required to submit a student health information and vaccination form upon enrollment.
