UPDATE:

Dear BISS Community 

The Red Alert for pollution issued by the Chaoyang Education Commission extends through to Thursday, and after consideration of the situation, we have decided BISS will remain closed tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday as well as today (Tuesday). Unless further notice is given, we will be back to school on Friday (please be reminded this is a half day, and our last day of school before our winter break).  

Teachers will continue to upload appropriate tasks to Moodle/Blogs so as to provide online learning opportunities to continue over the closed days. The school administration will meet following the resumption of school to identify which days we can make up and when, and we will let you know when they have been determined.

We are sorry for any inconvenience these forced closures are causing, but we just have to cope with the environment the best we can as we put our children’s safety first.

停课通知更新：

北京市朝阳区教委发布的空气污染红色预警已延长至本周四。BISS因此决定停课三天：周二（12月8日）、周三（12月9日）以及周四（12月10日）。除非另行通知，学校将于周五（12月11日）恢复上课，当天为寒假前的最后一天，上课半天。

教师将继续在Moodle网站和博客布置作业以供学生进行在线学习。学校将会讨论如何为停课时间进行补课，届时会通知大家。

十分抱歉给各位带来不便，但是为了学生的安全，我们必须作此决定。
