Established in 1994 as a school for children of foreign nationals, Beijing BISS International School has witnessed China's journey of opening up and fostering friendly exchanges. Generations of outstanding Chinese and foreign educators have dedicated their efforts here. In the nearly 30 years since, over 7,000 students have graduated and pursued further studies at top global institutions like Harvard University, Columbia University, and the National University of Singapore. To date, Beijing BISS International School remains the top educational choice for many diplomatic families, foreign corporate executives, high-level talent introduction families, and returned overseas Chinese. It stands as a symbol of Chaoyang District's multicultural exchange and internationalization.

Today, we stand at a historic moment, welcoming a new chapter in the history of Beijing BISS International School. We are honored to announce that Ms. Jing Pei and Mr. Richard Pratt will be the new leaders of our school, ushering us through a new milestone.

Ms. Jing Pei joined Beijing BISS International School as a director in 2022. During her tenure, she was deeply involved in the school's strategic development and invested in its growth. Her exceptional leadership skills and profound insights into international education have earned her unanimous election as the new Chairperson of the Board by the Board of Directors.

Meanwhile, Mr. Richard Pratt, our new Principal, graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). He brings over thirty years of experience in international education, having held key positions in prestigious institutions such as Eton College in the UK, Chinese International School in Hong Kong, Hangzhou CIS School for Children of Foreign Personnel and Avenues World School in Shenzhen. Principal Pratt has an outstanding reputation in the education sector both domestically and internationally. In 2015, he was awarded the Qianjiang Friendship Award in recognition of his contributions to economic construction and social development, and granted permanent residency in the People's Republic of China. Mr. Pratt brings his global perspective and profound educational philosophy to Beijing BISS International School, further enhancing the quality of education.

With our unwavering original aspiration and determined efforts, we continue to cultivate global citizens with a sense of social responsibility, as we witness the simultaneous growth of youth and the world. This leadership transition signifies that while continuing our tradition of excellence in education and cultural diversity, we also stride towards new heights of development.
