Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that due to heavy pollution in the Beijing vicinity, Beijing BISS International School will be closed today: Wednesday January 4, 2017. As such, eLearning procedures will go into effect, whereby the BISS teachers will post work to be done from home, throughout the school day, on the blogs and WeChat groups (for the Elementary School) and via Moodle (in the Secondary School). 

Please note that the buses will not be running today. We will be in close communication with all families about the status of the school opening or remaining closed for Thursday and Friday. 

I am sure we are all eagerly awaiting the winds to come into Beijing and clean the skies.
