School Open Tomorrow: Friday, January 6, 2017
Dear BISS Parents,
We have been through a rough patch this week concerning pollution levels in Beijing. The situation seems that it has slightly improved today and the AQI index has been more or less consistently below 300. According to our policy and the forecast for tomorrow and next week, the situation will improve further Sunday onwards.
However, taking into consideration all aspects of the situation and as always having the safety and well-being of our students in mind, a decision has been made that Beijing BISS International School will be open on Friday 6th, January 2017 and classes will resume accordingly. Consequently, buses will run tomorrow morning as scheduled. It goes without saying that we are going to continue to monitoring air pollution levels and take all necessary action according to the strict school guidelines.
Once again, we would like to thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation.
